| K’leen’s parents moved
to National Park from Philadelphia in 1946 so her father could commute to the
Philadelphia Navy Yard by ferry. K'leen was born and raised in National
Park. Her father, Bob Frizell, was the water
superintendent for several years. “I love this town and the people in
it.” Like they say " you can leave, but you always come back." K’leen
was a room mother in National Park Elementary School for years. “Being a
room mother gave me a great chance to get to know the other children my
kids went to school with and also get to know their mothers and their
teachers. It meant a lot to my kids that I spent that time with them. |
